The officer said the suspect used to stalk the women for two to three days before assaulting them.

11 rape incidents reported in Pakistan every day, official statistics reveal

According to Mehdi, the police came to know about the criminal after a woman filed a complaint at the Koral police station.

The woman informed the police that she was attacked and raped by an unidentified man in the forest.

She also helped the police make the sketch of the attacker. It was then shown to several people in the area where the assaults took place.

A man saw the sketch and recognized the attacker because the criminal had also raped three of his daughters, another investigator told BBC Urdu.

Moreover, Mehdi says at least three rape cases were filed within the limits of his police station. Several other women have not yet filed their complaints.
