Two helicopters collide in Afghanistan, killing 9
Two helicopters collided in Afghanistan’s Helmand province, killing nine people.
According to Afghan officials, two Afghan Air Force helicopters crashed in the Nawa district of Helmand Province due to a technical glitch. Helicopters were on duty to pick up the wounded and transport more Afghan commandos.
The security forces and rescue teams have reeached the venue , however, no details about the deceased have been posted by reporters.
Earlier, a national air force plane crashed during a training flight in Ukraine, killing 25 people.
The Ukrainian Interior Ministry said in a statement last month that the plane had crashed near the town of Kharikyov.
