ISLAMABAD: Three more private educational institutions have been sealed in the federal capital Islamabad after the Corona cases came to light.
Following the Corona cases, the district health officer issued a letter sealing the three educational institutions.
According to sources, the institution was sealed after the corona virus was confirmed in two students of a private school in Chatha Bakhtawar.
Similarly, orders have been issued to seal the school after the corona virus was confirmed in three teachers of a private school in F-10. The institution was sealed after two teachers at a private school in G-6/2 contracted the corona virus.
Earlier, 46 educational institutions have been sealed after corona cases were reported. 17 educational institutions have been de-sealed.
It is to be noted that due to the increasing number of Corona cases in the country, the Corona Expert Advisory Group has started considering re-proposing a lockdown to the government.
Earlier, Asad Aslam of Corona Expert Advisory Group said in a statement that SOPs are not being implemented in any sector other than markets, which is increasing the chances of the virus spreading further.
He said that if the situation remained the same, he would again propose smart lockdown to the government while there was still space in the hospitals to accommodate Corona patients.
It should be noted that the spread of Corona virus has once again increased in Pakistan and 10 more people have died from Corona in the last 24 hours while 19 people lost their lives yesterday.
According to the National Command and Operations Center, 736 new cases of Corona have been reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 325,480. There are 9,642 Corona patients under treatment in Pakistan and 39,136 have recovered.
The corona virus has killed 2,323 people in Punjab and 2,590 in Sindh. The death toll in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has risen to 1,266, 201 in Islamabad, 148 in Balochistan, 90 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 84 in Azad Kashmir.
