Judicial Magistrate South granted the request of Dr. Maha Shah for exhumation and postmortem and said that exhumation should be done under the postmortem law.
According to details, Judicial Magistrate South has issued a written verdict on the request of post-mortem in Dr Maha Shah’s alleged suicide case.
In the judgment, while approving the post-mortem petition of Dr Mahashah, he said that the court has no objection to the exhumation. If the prosecution takes action, the court cannot interfere in the investigation.
The written order said that Dr Mahaki’s exhumation should be done under the postmortem law. The investigating officer said in the application that according to the report, the bullet hit the left side, exited from the right side.
The case has been registered in the complaint of Dr Maha Shah’s father Asif Ali Shah and the accused in the case are Junaid, Waqas, Irfan Qureshi and others.
It may be recalled that SP Investigation South had written a letter to Sessions Judge Mirpur Khas for exhumation of Dr Maha Ali, in which it was stated that exhumation was necessary for investigation in the case.
The text of the letter said that Dr. Maha was shot in the head on August 18. Dr. Maha died after transfer to the hospital. The medical report at Jinnah Hospital was falsified by Dr. Irfan, including Dr. Irfan, Junaid and Waqas. Has been investigated.
The letter said that according to the report, the bullet was fired from the left side and came from the right side. Her father has raised questions about the death of Dr. Maha.
It may be recalled that Dr. Maha, a resident of Defense area of Karachi, had allegedly committed suicide. Police arrested two persons on suspicion.
