Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan has said that it has been decided to close markets across Punjab before Eid.
The Anti-Corona Cabinet Committee met in the Chief Minister’s House in Lahore to review various measures to curb the spread of Corona for Eid-ul-Adha.
Talking to media after the meeting, Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan said that a strict lockdown has been decided from today which will be applicable from night.
Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan said that markets across Punjab would remain closed from 12 noon tonight till August 5, while Eid-ul-Fitr SOPs would also be implemented on Eid-ul-Adha.
He clarified that all business and commercial centers of Punjab would remain closed till August 5 .
