Saudi government to provide free Wifi in Makkah and Madina

The Saudi government has decided to provide free Wi-Fi service in the Grand Mosque of Makkah and in Masjid e Nabwi.

According to the Arab News Agency, the Saudi government has decided to provide free Wi-Fi service in 60,000 locations across the country under the Communication and Information Technology, which will provide free Wi-Fi service to citizens in public places.

According to Arab media, free Wi-Fi service will be provided in hospitals, malls and public parks, while Wi-Fi service will also be provided in Masjid-ul-Haram and Masjid-e-Nabawi.

According to Arab media, under the service, internet service providers in different cities will provide free Wi-Fi to citizens for two hours.

According to Arab media, communication and information technology has started working with tele communications to implement these measures soon in Makkah and Madina’s mosques.

Previously, the locals used to use mobile data for communicating, and used to charge sims cards in order to communicate with their friends and family. It will provide a lot of ease to the Pilgrims.
