Lee Kuan Yew, chairman of Samsung, a leading Korean smartphone and electronics maker, has died at the age of 78.
According to British media, the cause of death has not been stated by Lee Kuan Yew’s family, but there are reports that he had a heart condition and in 2014 he also had a heart attack.
Born in 1942, Lee took over the leadership of Samsung in 1987 after the death of his father.
After Lee took the lead, Samsung grew rapidly, transforming it from a local company to an international company, becoming the world’s largest maker of smartphones, memory chips and other electronics devices. ۔
According to Forbes Magazine, Lee Kuan Yew is the richest man in Korea since 2009 and has an estimated wealth of over 20 billion dollars.
