Famous Khatib Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi died of a heart attack. Allama Zameer Akhtar was born in the Indian city of Lucknow. He was a preacher as well as a poet.
According to close friends, Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi was shifted to a private hospital last night where he died of a heart attack. The body of Zameer Naqvi will be shifted to Ancholi Imambargah.
Zameer Akhtar Naqvi wrote dozens of books, including poetry and elegies. He wrote a two-volume biography on Shahzad Qasim Ibn Hassan. Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi’s Meraj Khattabat consists of 5 volumes.
Governor Sindh Imran Ismail expressed sorrow over the demise of Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi and prayed for his forgiveness and elevation of ranks.
