The Government of Pakistan has organized a ‘Radio School’ to promote children’s education during the global epidemic of corona virus.
A statement issued by Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood on social media said that an agreement has been reached between the Ministry of Education and Radio Pakistan under which children’s education will be promoted through radio.
Shafqat Mahmood said that educational material would be broadcasted for 4 hours daily under the radio school.

Educational material will be broadcasted on Radio Pakistan from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., while it will also be repeated throughout the week from 2 to 4 p.m.
Referring to the program, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood said that the project was carried out in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan to provide education to people in every corner of the country during the Corona virus.
He said that a tele-school had been launched in April in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and PTV, benefiting about 8 million children.
He added that the government also plans to launch an e-education portal soon through which the public will be able to access ‘TeleSchool’ and ‘Radio School’ programs with just one click.
