Khalid Khurshid’s name has been finalized for Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister.

Khalid Khurshid’s name was approved in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Chief Organizer Saifullah Niazi has confirmed that the name of Khalid Khurshid has been finalized for the post of Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan. The Prime Minister has finalized the name of Khalid Khurshid for the post of Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan. He joined PTI in 2018.

There was a contest between Khalid Khurshid and Fatehullah for the post of Chief Ministerial candidate.

According to the party position, 21 members belong to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) while 4 members including 1 woman and 1 technocrat are from PPP .

Previously, it was being said that the CM selection is being delayed but now it has been finalized and the meeting of Assembly was also called in this regard. The meeting was postponed due to some reasons and now it will be called on November 30th.
