PM Imran Khan arrived in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province on a short visit where he met Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan.
Issues of mutual interest including development of Balochistan were discussed during the meeting while a briefing was given by the Chief Minister on development initiatives and law and order situation.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the development program of the provincial government and the steps taken for the establishment of peace and assured the Chief Minister of full cooperation from the Federal Government.
Later, members of the Balochistan Cabinet also called on PM Imran Khan, including Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan, Federal Ministers and Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the priority of the government is the welfare and development of the backward classes, but unfortunately in the past promises were made to Balochistan but could not be implemented.
He said that for Balochistan, our government has allocated maximum funds in the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP).
