Peshawar High court summons Federal ministers who insulted Musharraf after case verdict

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has directed the federal ministers and their aides to appear before the court on the alleged insulting statements of federal ministers regarding the verdict in the Pervez Musharraf serious treason case.

A case was heard in the Peshawar High Court against the insulting statements of federal ministers. The case was heard by Justice Rooh ul Amin and Justice Ijaz.

Justice Rooh ul Amin remarked that those who have contempt of court should appear in person at the next hearing.

On this occasion, Deputy Attorney General Amir Javed requested the court that they will appear in the case on behalf of the parties and give arguments.

Justice Rooh ul Amin, while rejecting the petition, ordered that if the contenders appear in person, then they will hear them.
