National Assembly passes unanimous resolution against French Islamophobia

The National Assembly unanimously passed a resolution condemning the insulting sketches and French Islamophobia. The House showed solidarity against enemies of the religion.

According to the details, the condemning resolution presented by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that this House strongly condemns the insulting sketches and insults in honor of the Holy Prophet in France, as well as the House condemns the insulting words of the French President.

The text of the resolution said that France’s actions against the hijab are reprehensible, and called on the House to observe March 15 as World Day on Islamophobia.

The resolution presented by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that an emergency meeting of the OIC should be convened immediately, in which non-OIC countries along with OIC countries should legislate to stop events related to blasphemous sketches.
