The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has opened another case against the former prime minister and senior vice president PML-N Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and summoned him.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been summoned in connection with the appointment of former Managing Director (MD) Mineral Development Corporation Khalid Sajjad Khokhar.
The PML-N leader has been summoned to the NAB Rawalpindi office in Melody Islamabad at 10 am tomorrow and it has been said that in case of his non-appearance, action will be taken under NAB Ordinance.
It is reported that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau on July 18, 2019, in the LNG case, but was later released on bail by the Islamabad High Court on February 25, 2020.
He has since been granted interim bail by the Sindh High Court in a case of illegal appointment of Managing Director (MD) of Pakistan State Oil (PSO).
