Iran accuses Israel for the murder of top scientist

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has called for an immediate response to Israel’s attack on Mohsen Fakhri, a prominent scientist killed in an assassination attempt.

According to Iranian media, the Iranian president has warned Israel about a plot to spread chaos in the region and vowed that Tehran would respond promptly to the assassination of its prominent nuclear scientist.

He said that the assassination of a nuclear scientist showed the extreme frustration and hatred of the enemy, adding that the assassination of Mohsen Fakhri would not slow down Iran’s nuclear process.

Hassan Rouhani said that the insurgent force wants to destroy the peace of the region with such operations. We have read the conspiratorial mindset of the enemy and we will not allow them to succeed.

The President emphasized that the Iranian nation and the officials of this country are more brave and passionate than leaving this criminal act unanswered and the concerned officials will respond to this crime in due course. Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was a professor of physics at Imam Hussein University in Iran, a leading scientist in the Iranian Ministry of Defense.
