According to a recent Transparency International survey, India has the highest bribery rate at 39% and 46% of people in India use personal relationships to access services.
Transparency International’s Global Corruption Barometer Asia survey polled 20,000 people in 17 Asian countries over the past 12 months. According to the survey, about 50% of people demand bribes, while 32% use personal contacts to access services.
