Shaukat Khanum Hospital compensation case against PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi was decided. According to details, Additional District and Sessions Judge of Rawalpindi Sahibzada Naqib Shehzad imposed a fine of Rs 5 million on PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi for allegations of corruption in Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
It should be noted that Shaukat Khanum Memorial The trust had filed a claim for Rs 100 million against him in 2012. PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi had made allegations of corruption in Shaukat Khanum Hospital which he could not prove.
A Rawalpindi court has accepted the defamation suit of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and ordered to pay Rs 5 million compensation to Hanif Abbasi.
On the allegations of Hanif Abbasi, the management of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital had filed a case against him for Rs. 5 million.
It may be recalled that earlier PML-N leader Khawaja Asif had also leveled allegations of corruption against Shaukat Khanum Hospital and a case of damages against him was pending in the court which has been pending for the last nine years but could not be decided.
