In a joint operation in Pasni, Pakistan Coast Guard and Army foiled an attempt to smuggle more than Rs 17 billion worth of drugs abroad from Pasni , Balochistan.
According to a Coast Guard spokesman, joint teams were formed in different areas. During the operation, an attempt to smuggle valuable drugs abroad was foiled in Pasni Shadi Kaur.
During the operation, 101 kg of crystal and 2700 kg of high quality hashish were recovered from the drugs hidden in the mountains.
The seized drugs were to be smuggled abroad by sea. The value of the drug in the international market is about Rs. 17.275 billion.
The DG Coast Guard has appreciated the hard work and high performance of the youth. DG Coast Guard said that Coast Guard is doing great work in order to combat every kind of smuggling and the way it has foiled this biggest smuggling, it is commendable.
