The Dubai government has announced that it will allow wedding ceremonies after easing the Corona lockdown.
According to the Arab News Agency, the Dubai government announced that from October 22 marriage will be allowed in wedding halls, hotels and other temporary locations.
According to Arab media, the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai has said that those attending the event must abide by the guidelines issued on public safety and take strict action in case of violation.
According to Arab media, a maximum of 200 people will be allowed to attend the ceremonies held in the wedding halls and the participants will have to wear masks while a maximum of 30 people will be allowed to attend the ceremonies held in tents. Individuals will be allowed to participate.
According to the directions of the Supreme Committee, a table can accommodate a maximum of five persons and guests will not be allowed to sit in front of each other while a decision of 1.5 meters will be taken between each person and the distance between the tables will be kept up to 2 meters .
The Supreme Court’s directive further states that ceremonies held at temporary locations, including hotels, wedding halls and homes, can last only 4 hours, while those with symptoms of cough and fever, including the elderly, are not allowed to attend.
According to Arab media, more than 115,000 cases of corona have been reported in Dubai so far and 463 people have died from the virus.
