Blast in North Waziristan, young Pakistani soldier martyred

A young Pakistani soldier was martyred in a landmine blast near a security forces check post in North Waziristan.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded near a security check post on Boya Miranshah Road in North Waziristan.

Sajid, a 33-year-old soldier, was martyred in the blast. After the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a clearance operation.
