Bear attack kills employee at zoo

A zoo employee was attacked and killed by bears in front of a tourist bus at a zoo in China.

The accident took place in the “Wild Best Area” at the Wildlife Park in Shanghai, China.

A video of the incident shared on social media shows a group of tourists driving by as they watched several bears gather near the bus.

According to a tourist post shared on social media about the incident, a machine digger near the enclosure tried to remove the bears from the bus, while a zoo employee kept the bears away from the tourist bus. He could not run away but the bear dragged the unfortunate employee away.

The park’s Wild Best Area has been temporarily closed by the administration since the incident and tourist tickets have been returned for the time being to improve the park’s security.

The zoo administration promised to ensure the safety of other workers after the deadly attack on the employee, and the park administration also offered condolences to the victim’s family.

It should be noted that in this area of ​​the zoo, tourists are only allowed to travel by bus as animals roam freely here.
