Australia thrashed India to win the ODI series. Australia defeated India by 51 runs in the second ODI to take a decisive 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

According to the details, batting first, Australia scored 389 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted overs and gave India a target of 390 runs to win. The Indian team scored 338 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.

Australian batsman Steve Smith was declared the man of the match for his brilliant innings of 104 off 64 balls. Smith’s innings included 14 fours and two high sixes.

Earlier, opener David Warner was run out for 83 runs. Captain Aaron Finch played a responsible inning of 60 runs. Marnus Labuschagne remained prominent by scoring 70 runs. Glenn Maxwell played an unbeaten inning of 63 runs. Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, and Pandya took one wicket each for India.

The Indian team scored 338 runs in pursuit of 390 runs. Virat Kohli’s 89-run innings could not save India from defeat. KL Rahul scored 76 runs and became the victim of Adam Zampa.

Opener Agarwal (28) and Shekhar Dhawan (30) were the main contributors. Pandya (28) and Ravindra Jadeja (24) were the top scorers. Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins led three players to the pavilion, Hazlewood and Adam Zampa took two wickets each.
