Another offer to India to advocate for Kalbhushan Jadhav
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the government to make another offer to India to appoint a lawyer for Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav.
A two-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Athar Minallah in the Islamabad High Court heard the government’s request to appoint Kulbhushan’s lawyer to implement the International Court of Justice’s decision on Kulbhushan.
During the hearing, the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court said that now the matter is in the High Court, so why not to give India another chance.
The apex court, while ordering India to offer to advocate Kulbhushan Jadhav, said that the Indian government or Kulbhushan may reconsider its decision.
The hearing on Kabhushnan Jadhav to have lawyer has been postponed till 3rd September.
