Fouzia Younis, Head of Communication and Public Diplomacy at the British High Commission, said:

Chevening provides opportunities for all. For the last two years, we have smashed our 50 percent target on gender, with talented Pakistani women forming nearly 60 percent of our intakes. I encourage even more applications from across Pakistan and minority groups. There are no limits on ambition.

Interested students can feel free to visit the official website of the program to submit applications: www.chevening.org/apply.

Before starting your application for a Chevening Scholarship, please ensure you have the following required documents ready:

  • Valid passport/national ID card
  • University transcripts and degree certificates (undergraduate, postgraduate)
  • Three different UK Master’s course choices
  • Names of two referees who know you in a professional or academic capacity

Please note that if you are shortlisted for an award, you will be required to log into the online application system and request a reference from your referees. The request will generate an email to the referees, and they will need to submit the reference by a set timeline. If your referees do not submit the reference by the set deadline, you will be unable to proceed with an interview.

The call for new applicants follows the selection of 37 scholars from Pakistan, who win an award to study at a UK university the following year.
