KABUL: An airstrike in Afghanistan’s Takhar province has killed 12 people and injured 14.
According to Afghan media, the airstrike was carried out on a madrassa in Baharak district.
A part from today’s airstrike a stampede outside the Pakistani consulate in the Afghan city of Jalalabad yesterday also killed 15 people, including women.
According to Afghan media, more than 3,000 people were present outside the consulate at the time of obtaining the visa.
According to the international news agency Reuters, 11 of the 15 people killed were women, while the injured included the elderly.
A bomb blast in the Afghan province of Ghor a few days ago killed 12 people and injured more than 100.
