Shopping online is often expensive for consumers because the actual state of what we see on the screen is very different from this picture.
But recently a couple had a rare incident where they ordered a pet cat online and received a leopard cub instead of the pet cat.
According to a foreign news agency, the French couple ordered a cat online for 6,000 euros, whose breed was named ‘Savannah Cat’.
The couple said they became suspicious after staying with the cat for a week, after which they immediately took the cat to a veterinarian, who examined them and told them it was a “Sumatran leopard”.
No one can buy a Sumatran leopard privately when it cannot be taken anywhere without paperwork.
Savannah cats, on the other hand, can be raised as pets.
As soon as the case reached the authorities, nine suspects, including the couple who bought the leopard, were taken into custody, while the baby leopard was taken to the French Biodiversity office.
