73 years of Indian occupation : Kashmir black day

Kashmiris on both sides of the LoC and around the world are observing Black Day today on the 73rd anniversary of India’s illegal occupation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Other organizations in the Valley, including the All-Party Hurriyat Conference, have called for a complete strike in the Occupied Territories today and black flags are being hoisted at homes.

On the occasion of Black Day, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that today marks a dark chapter in human history.

Imran Khan said that India’s illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir is an international dispute, work for a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions.

He said that Pakistan would continue to provide all possible assistance to the Kashmiris till the right to self-determination was achieved. India on October 27, 1947, against the wishes of the Kashmiris, sent their forces to Jammu and Kashmir and occupied Kashmir.
