7 Pakistani players in NZ tested positive for COVID-19

7 Pakistani players in NZ tested positive for COVID-19. 6 players already tested positive. Sarfaraz Ahmad, Abid Ali, Naseem Shah, M Abbas, Danish Aziz, and Rohail Nazir were among the players tested positive for COVID-19.

According to details, with the diagnosis of Corona in another player of the national team, the total number of players affected by Corona has risen to seven.

It is to be noted that 48 players and officials were tested again on Friday. Reports of the second test of 6 players suffering from corona are awaited.

It may be recalled that on November 26, the first corona test of the national team players was conducted in Christchurch, in which 6 players were diagnosed with Covid 19. However, after an 18-hour flight from Dubai to Auckland on a commercial flight, some players in New Zealand fell victim to corona.

Difficulties have increased in the Pakistan cricket team’s tour of New Zealand. Matches between the two teams are in jeopardy after the 7-member corona test came positive.

The national team is currently in quarantine in Christchurch, and the national cricket team has been barred from practicing. However, the New Zealand Cricket Board issued a final warning accusing the players of violating the Corona SOPs.
